After completing many tedious projects this semester, I chose something that would be more simple to construct. After looking through the pattern aisles at JoAnn's, I decided on a low cut top with a tie at the bottom. I thought this top would be perfect for the Summer. I chose a lightweight fabric that would be very breathable on humid Summer days.
Constructing this garment was very easy, as I expected. The only problem I encountered while making this top was that it was very large on me. Once I sewed all of the pieces together I had to take in the sides of the top by 3 inches on each side. Besides that inconvenience, it was overall an easy project. I hope to style this top with a red flowy skirt or shorts for the fourth of July.
