Jacket Painting

While I was sitting at home during quarantine, I decided that I would keep myself busy by painting an old jean jacket that I had in my closet. This jacket will be perfect to wear for events and games at TCU. I used painters tape to create the outline of the state, and tape out the letters in the middle. After painting the state purple, I painted the letters white and used a thin brush to outline the state and make it pop. Following the painting, I used fabric glue to attach rhinestones to the outline of the state.

Along with painting the jean jacket, I purchased a light purple sweatshirt and patches to DIY. I bought these patches for super cheap off of Etsy and ironed them on. This whole project cost less than $20, compared to the ones I saw selling on Instagram for over $50. Total steal!
