Plaid Skirt

A popular trend this Fall and Winter season has been plaid. While walking around JoAnn Fabric's, I found this pattern for a plaid ruffle skirt. I have been wanting a plaid skirt or shorts for a long time, so this was the perfect idea for my second project of the semester.

Making this garment was confusing because the pattern pieces all looked so similar. However, I do like the way it turned out. I think the two darts on the back are very flattering and the ruffle in the front and around the bottom edge of the skirt.
