As I return from a week away in Iceland, I thought it would be the perfect occasion to recap last week's looks. It was the most amazing trip—unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. The country is so geologically fascinating, with lava rock everywhere, active volcanoes, and rolling farms.
On the first day, we did a food tour around Reykjavik, trying traditional Icelandic dishes including fermented shark, lamb tartare, and pickled herring. As a picky eater, this was horrifying at first, but it turned out much better than I expected. I wore a Fair Isle sweater from The Great., jeans from Citizens of Humanity, belt from Madewell, bag from Etsy, and boots from Steve Madden.

We visited Ingólfsskáli, a Viking-themed restaurant on the southeast coast of the island. It was so fun learning more about Iceland’s Viking past through activities like axe throwing and archery. I wore a navy kimono sweater from Scotch & Soda, jeans from Levi's, and the same bag and boots as before.

The last put-together outfit I’ll feature from the trip—considering 75% of it was spent bundled up in hiking clothes and rain jackets—is this look I wore for an afternoon and dinner in Selfoss. My top is from Modern Citizen, jeans from Citizens of Humanity, coat from Toccin, and the same boots and bag as before.

My goal for the trip was to build multiple outfits using just a few key items—hence the repeated bag and boots in every outfit, lol! The locals there dress very casually due to the constantly changing weather, which forces them to bundle up and stay adaptable.
