Wedding time!! This weekend my friends and I attended a semi-formal event that was a pretend wedding. The frat set up an entire reception and even had someone dress up as an officiant. It was so fun to spend the night with all of my friends and get dressed up. At TCU, one of the best places to take pictures on campus is in front of Frog Fountain, so we did just that. The lighting pre-sunset was amazing and highlighted our jewel-toned dresses so well.

I got my turquoise dress from a boutique in Waco, TX called Coreopsis. It cost me only $20 and yet it looks exactly the same as the $600 Alice McCall dress from their 2019 Resort collection. I love how unique the layers of ruffle are, and the shiny tulle material reflected the sunlight so well, giving the dress an extra sparkle. Because the dress is such a statement garment, I added simple silver jewelry to compliment it. Along with the jewelry I included black heels and a black clutch.

Although I was hesitant about wearing this dress because of how puffy I felt it made me look, I am so so happy I went with it. It has such intricate architecture and is unlike any other dress!
